I showed up 30 minutes early at the meeting of my Sex and the City group on Saturday, so I decided to walk around the mall. When I got to the restaurant, one was already there. Soon, two more showed. So everyone showed as expected at the last count.

Everyone was friendly and nice.

I had a portobello mushroom sandwich with fries. Unfortunately, they no longer carry New York Cheesecake–the only dessert I wanted. Everyone else had a sandwich or soup and salad. The food and atmosphere was excellent. It is a great place to dine.

The conversation flowed extremely well. It was like we already knew each other. We discussed hobbies, families, Sex and the City, other TV shows, and work.  Of course I had the most interesting job of the bunch. I told them I’m a counselor online, which is what I partially do at ImLive. One was especially intrigued; she asked where is my site online. I told her ImLive.com. I don’t know if they visited the site yet. Of course, I would need to tell them that I am mainly an adult webcam stripper, if we are to become real friends–I WANT to tell them. Too much stress hiding something as important as what I do for a living. Besides, I think they would be more angry if I kept them from knowing what I really do for a living than what I actually do. Most people want honesty–especially friends. I would.

After about two hours, one left, then an hour later, another left. I stayed with the last person for hours. We stayed at the restaurant until about 3:00pm, then went to a book store and had dessert there.

We talked about The Arts mainly. We have a lot in common. Both of us have a great passion for the art world, and are looking for a “family-like” community to be a part of.

While there, I bought another bookmark to add to my collection. It had an Anais Nin quote written on it; it was a blue, metal bookmark. Very pretty.

I got home around 5:30pm. All-in-all, it was a very good meeting.

We all have emailed each other since then. I have already made plans for this upcoming weekend: Either see a film or go to a play. We are voting on that now.
